After a very succesfull Holly rustling afternoon using my trusty sharp secateurs round the grange area of Edinburgh, (big houses with big walls and lots of overhanging green stuff). I have been able to create a lovely Christmasy mantlepiece for the house, as we will not be having a proper xmas tree this year because of being in London over the hols. The usual mantlepiece suspects are mostly there white bunny, brass beaver, china cockerel and wee David Tennant, but are now joined by Santa snowglobe ceramic snowman (made by Eve) and angel candlestick. An old Madame Cholet womble figurine tops the tiny tree and I expect a few more wee bits and bobs will appear before the week is out!!
